Len Louis is a founder director of The Hotel Partnership trading as Classic British Hotels.
Len has worked in brand management and marketing with major grocery and confectionery organisations such as H. J. Heinz & Co., The Pillsbury Company and Cadbury Schweppes plc. He has worked on a variety of leading brands including Heinz Baked Beans, Heinz Tomato Ketchup, Cadbury's Milk Tray and Cadbury's Drinking Chocolate.
Over this period, he had substantial marketing budgets and was noted for his unique award winning advertising, promotions & PR campaigns. He acquired a broad in-depth marketing experience in strategic planning, branding, pricing, advertising, packaging, market research, product innovation and bottom line profitability. He was also involved in new ventures and acquisitions.
He then ventured into the Hospitality Industry, where he has worked at a senior level for several organisations such as Embassy Hotels, a subsidiary of Allied Lyons plc, Jarvis Hotels, Best Western Hotels and Pegasus Solutions. At Best Western he was Director of Marketing, Sales, Reservations and Membership for the UK with involvement and active participation in the international arena through Best Western International. At Pegasus Solutions, he was Director UK & Ireland for hotel franchising, which exposed him to investors, financial institutions, developers, construction companies and hotel operators. He has an excellent understanding of membership organisations and franchise companies in the hotel industry.
Classic British Hotels was created in 2001 to enable top end 3, 4 and 5 star independent hotels to compete on an equal footing with the major quality hotel chains, but without losing their own identity or individuality. This is the market that Classic British Hotels successfully services in the UK today as a highly structured cohesive organisation operating within a narrow quality band for the benefit of its members.
