Located on the outskirts of London and yet enjoying all the benefits of being in the beautiful county of Surrey, the Aerodrome Hotel is an ideal base for exploring a variety of attractions. Central London is just 15 minutes or so by train which means that top visitor sites such as the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace are easily accessible. Closer to home, the Aerodrome occupies a historic position in aviation history that is echoed throughout the hotel. Adjoining the hotel, the Croydon Airport Visitor Centre comprises two galleries in the airport's old control tower, with displays and memorabilia telling the history of the world's first international airport. Further afield, Surrey offers a wealth of stunning countryside, historic houses, gardens and parks with over 12,000 acres owned by the National Trust.
