Golf Facilities & Golf Course Information

* Beamish Park Golf Club

The tree-lined parkland course at Beamish Park golf club is one of the most picturesque in the region. It is set in a lovely verdant location with fabulous vistas across the splendid Durham countryside. It is best to try and avoid becoming too consumed by the countryside, however, as this is a course that would pose problems for even the most experienced golfer. It is challenging but unquestionably rewarding if you play it well.

Watch out in particular for the par four twelfth. A sharp dogleg to the left - which is almost right-angular - there are ponds lurking on the left-hand side of the fairway off the tee which makes cutting the dogleg very corner. The green is fronted by an intimidating bunker also.

  • Beamish Hall are happy to arrange tee-off times for guests wishing to play the course with special rates.
