The Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel & Spa, pronounced 'Court Bledden' is set amidst 50 acres of gardens and grounds in an idyllic rural setting in the glorious Vale of Usk. When looking for hotels in Newport, the Cwrt Bleddyn is just 10 minutes drive from Junction 24 of the M4.

The Wye Valley and Brecon Beacons are close by. The original manor house has been extended to offer well-appointed bedrooms including period rooms and four-poster rooms. The Cwrt Bleddyn leisure club features a Roman baths style pool and offers a full range of beauty treatments.

The history of the manor house dates back many centuries. Parts of the original building and its intrinsic detail still remain, particularly in the public areas of the hotel. All of the bedrooms are beautifully-appointed and include period rooms and four-poster rooms.

The leisure club features a state-of-the-art gymnasium, Roman bath style pool, tennis courts and offers a full range of beauty treatments.

Delicious food is served in The Med Restaurant and an extensive selection of fine wine and champagne is available in the refined, chic Champagne Bar.

Cwrt Bleddyn has four meeting rooms seating up to 160 delegates.

Bedroom Accommodation

Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel and Spa has 44 beautifully designed en-suite bedrooms. Rooms are split between the main, original manor house, the Annex and the Cottage. Facilities available in all rooms includes an alarm clock, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer, international direct dial telephone, iron & ironing board, trouser press, modem data port, radio, razor electrical socket, television with Satellite TV and temperature control. All rooms at the Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel & Spa are non-smoking.

Standard Single Rooms - Single rooms located in the Annex.
Standard Double Rooms - Small double rooms located in the Annex with a 4ft 6" bed.
Please note: Annex rooms are quite far from the main reception, around 550 yards away. The Annex has a separate car park so guests can drive round to the annex main door.

Superior Double & Twin Rooms - Quite spacious double and twin rooms.
Executive Double Rooms - More spacious double rooms with sofa seating area that also extends to become a double sofa bed.
Heritage Double - Located in the original 16th century manor house part of the building. All Heritage Suites are furnished with antique wood furniture and floral furnishings. All rooms are very spacious. En-suite bathrooms feature a bath only.

Bridal Suite - Large, luxurious suite with separate lounge area and four poster bed.
Please note: The cottage is quite a walk from the main hotel building.

Hotel Heritage & History

The history of the original manor house dates back many centuries. Jane Seymour and Catherine Parr, two of Henry VIII's wives stayed in the building in the 16th century and some say their spirits live on.

The building remained as a privately owned manor house and farm until the 20th Century when it was converted into a hotel.

Parts of the original building remain and inside the hotel some of the rooms still boast the intrinsic detail of the original features.

By Road

From Cardiff/Swansea/West Wales: exit the M4 at Junct. 24 onto the A449. Exit A449 to Usk. Pass through Usk, cross a small bridge, then turn left for Llangybi. Continue for 3 miles. Hotel is on right, 1 mile after Llangybi.

From London & South West: exit the M4 at Junct. 25. Follow signs for Caerleon. After Caerleon, head for Usk & Llangybi. Hotel is approx. 4 miles along this road on the left.
