Bournemouth, voted 'Resort of the Year 2000' by the English Tourism Council, is an elegant, pine-fringed coastal resort in a south facing sheltered bay on the south coast of England. The town is set in attractive Dorset countryside designated as an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty', with the Dorset Heritage Coast and the New Forest within easy reach.
