Blakes Restaurant

Blakes offers some great British dishes in a contemporary and stylish setting made from locally sourced and organic produce. The walls of the restaurant feature images influenced by the cover of Sergeant Pepper s Lonely Hearts Club Band album and this continues the subtle theme of the hotel. Wines from around the world compliment the dishes on the menu. Blakes is featured in the 2009 Good Food Guide and has also been awarded the "Taste Liverpool Highest Quality Assured" and " Made in the North West" Accreditations.

Sample starter menu: Roast Butternut Squash and Rosemary Soup with Smoked Garlic & Coriander Crisp; West Coast Diver Scallops; Warm Chicken Sausage, Casserole of White Beans and Cepe Sauce; Grilled Spears of Asparagus, Golden Beetroot Salad and Tomato Vinaigrette.
Sample main course menu: Pork Fillet Wellington, Bacon and Sage Faggots, Truffle Mash, Roasted Roots and Belly Pork Crackling; Baked Halibut with Baked Potato Mash, Oyster Fritter and Braised Gem; Seared Breast of Duck, Crushed Peas, Potato Gratin and Masala Sauce; Cep and White Truffle Risotto with Shaved Parmesan and Garlic Shoots.
Sample dessert menu: Baked Vanilla Cheesecake with Brandied Raspberries; Classic Apple Tart Tatin with Black Treacle Ice-Cream; Bitter-Sweet Chocolate Tart, Pistachio Anglaise and Vanilla Crème Fraiche.

Breakfast is served from 7.00am to 10.00am Monday to Friday and from 8.00am to 10.00am on Saturday and Sunday
Lunch is served from 12.00pm to 2.30pm Thursday to Saturday
Dinner is served from 6.00pm to 10.00pm Tuesday to Saturday

The Lounge Bar

Situated in the heart of the hotel with its comfortable sofas and settees provides the perfect location for guests to simply unwind and relax while taking a light snack or more substantial meal. The Lounge Bar features stunning artwork and captures some of the Merseybeat groups of the 60's including of course the Beatles themselves. It is open from 8.00am through till 10.00pm in the evening.

Bar Four

Cocktail bar offering the height of luxury with wood panelled walls, luxury leather arm chairs and Italian marble, with a team of hostesses providing table service offering a vast array of cocktails, beers, wines and spirits, in a chic and stylish ambience. Enjoy a unique selection of specially made cocktails each with its own Beatles influence.

Bar Four is home to original, never seen before, artwork by artist Paul Ygartua who attended Liverpool Art College with John Lennon and his first wife Cynthia Powell. The oil paintings on canvas show each of The Beatles with their favourite instruments.

Bar Four situated by the hotel's grand entrance is open from 10.00am in the morning, through till 1.00am (2.00am on Fri/Sat). A smart dress code is in operation.
