Dining Experience

The WinePress restaurant at Harpenden House Hotel has retained the renaissance style ceiling with stylish soft furnishings and offers a chic yet informal dining experience. The menu at the WinePress Restaurant is overseen by Daniel Galmiche, a Michelin starred chef, who has worked in conjunction with the head chef at the hotel to create inspired, delicious food, served in relaxed surroundings. Wine features heavily and there are 40 wines available by the glass, which have been handpicked.

There are also two semi-private dining tables set in charming alcoves within the WinePress Restaurant.

  • Breakfast is served from 6.30am to 9.30am Monday to Friday and from 7.00am to 10.00am on Saturday and Sunday
  • Lunch is served from 12.00pm to 2.30pm all week
  • Dinner is served from 7.00pm to 10.00pm all week
    Welcome Lounge
    Relax and take in the atmosphere of our Welcome lounge, serving traditional afternoon tea or make your choice from the extensive bar and lounge menu. Many of the original period features remain, including a large 18th Century fireplace in the lounge. There is free WiFi for guests throughout the hotel and public areas.
