Llandudno town centre and Llandudno station are two minutes' walk from the Imperial Hotel and it is an ideal base from which to explore Snowdonia and tour the sights of North Wales.

The elegant, Victorian style Imperial Hotel is situated on the Promenade in the beautiful resort of Llandudno with spectacular views across Llandudno Bay. Known as the Queen of the Welsh resorts, Llandudno is a charming Victorian seaside resort located in a beautiful setting on the Creuddyn Peninsula between the two limestone headlands of the Great Orme and the Little Orme. This beautiful backdrop has also provided the setting for major films including Lara Croft - Tomb Raider.

The Imperial Hotel offers luxurious accommodation and was recipient of "The AA Hotel of the Year Wales 2010 - 2011 Award", The AA's ultimate accolade for hotels in Wales. Many of the 100 en-suite bedrooms have recently been refurbished to a very high standard and offer all the facilities you would expect from a first class hotel. Many of the bedrooms have sea-facing views looking out over Llandudno Bay and across to the pier.

Overlooking the Promenade, the award-winning Chantrey's Restaurant has an enviable reputation in the local area for the quality of the food and service. Diners can enjoy the sea view whilst sampling sumptuous cuisine made using only the best local produce. The Cocktail Bar leads out onto an attractive verandah and is the perfect place to enjoy a pre-dinner drink or watch the sun set in the evening with magnificent views of the whole bay.

Guests have full use of the Health and Fitness Centre 'Mint Condition' during their stay at the Imperial Hotel. Here you can enjoy an energetic work out in the cardio-vascular gym or the heated indoor pool. After your work-out relax in the sauna, spa pool and steam room.

How to find us

By Road

Accessibility is excellent from all parts of the UK. The A55 expressway now links North Wales to the national motorway network with Liverpool and Manchester.

From the South - Leave the M6 at junction 16, then at roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A500 (signposted Crewe, Nantwich, Chester). Continue to follow the A500 towards Chester and then onto the A51 signposted Chester. At Burford Crossroads turn right (signposted Chester) and continue to follow the A51 signposted North Wales, Chester. At roundabout take the 1st exit, then merge onto the A55 (signposted North Wales, Wrexham). Continue on the M55 and at junction 34 bear left, then merge onto the A55 (signposted Conwy A55, Mold A494). Continue forward onto the A55. Entering Colwyn Bay. Leave the A55 at Junction 20 (signposted Rhos-on-Sea), then turn right onto Princes Drive - B5113. At crossroads turn right onto Conway Road - A547 (signposted Rhos-on-Sea, Conwy A55). At mini-roundabout turn right onto Brompton Avenue - B5115 (signposted Rhos-on-Sea, Chester A55). At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Brompton Avenue - B5115 (signposted Llandudno). Continue forward onto Llandudno Road - B5115. Entering Penrhyn Bay. At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Penrhyn Hill - B5115 (signposted Llandudno). Turn right onto Penrhyn Hill - B5115. Entering Penrhynside. Continue forward onto The Parade - B5115. Entering Llandudno. The hotel is situated on the Promenade.
