Measuring 6615 yards from the back tees, it is a regular tournament venue for the region's top professionals that golfers of all abilities will find an enjoyable test. Always in immaculate condition, the courwse incorporates challenging water features in the shape of a large lake and the fast flowing River Pont. The dry stone 'Ha Ha' wall also presents a unique obstacle.

The Keeper's Lodge, Matfen Hall's beautifully appointed golf clubhouse is a splendid '19th hole'. Open seven days a week, its spacious bar/restaurant offers a warm welcome and appetising all day menu. The well stocked Pro-Shop carries an extensive range of golf equipment and fashion and is a hub for members and visitors throughout the year.
