    Dine in the splendour of the Conservatory Restaurant overlooking the picturesque Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal. Awarded two Rosettes by the AA for its exquisite cuisine, you can be sure of a culinary experience to match both the setting and your expectation. Special effort is made to source their ingredients from local producers and suppliers wherever possible, and to use foods which are not genetically modified. For those with specific dietary needs or those with allergies of any kind, we would recommend that you make your requirements known when making your booking or on placing your order.
  • The Conservatory Restaurant serves Modern British Cuisine and is a non-smoking restaurant. A wide selection of fine wines have been carefully selected to compliment the quality of the food.
  • Guests are requested to dress smartly with no jeans or trainers

  • Breakfast is served from 7.00am to 10.00am Monday to Friday and from 8.00am to 10.30am on Saturday and Sunday
  • Lunch is served from 12.00pm to 2.00pm Monday to Saturday. Only the Traditional Sunday Lunch Menu is available at Sunday Lunch from 12.30pm to 3.30pm.
  • Dinner is served from 7.00pm to 9.30pm all week with last orders at 9.30pm. Only the five-course Gourmet Dinner Menu is served on Saturday nights.
  • Last Orders for Dinner - 9.30pm
  • Due to the popularity of the Conservatory Restaurant, restaurant bookings are essential on Friday and Saturday nights. Please book your dining times in advance either online or through Classic Reservations.
  • Five-course Gourmet Dinner can be booked online for Saturday nights only at £40.00 per person per meal. Classic British Hotels customers booking accommodation at the Moat House Hotel can book online in advance on the Classic British Hotels website. Normal a la carte menu is available Monday to Friday.
  • A Speciality Gourmet Tasting Menu is also available in the Conservatory Restaurant Monday to Saturday. Not available on Sunday nights. Classic British Hotels customers booking accommodation at the Moat House Hotel can book in advance on the Classic British Hotels website at £50.00 per person per meal.
    Brasserie Bar
    The Brasserie Bar offers a more informal dining experience. Unwind in the charming, traditional 15th Century Oak Beamed Bar and relax by a blazing log fire in the winter months. There are also traditional picnic tables overlooking the lake during the spring and summer months so that you may dine al fresco if you wish.

  • Dinner is served from 6.00pm to 9.30pm Monday to Saturday and 6.00pm to 9.00pm on Sunday.
  • Last Orders for Dinner is 9.30pm Monday to Saturday and 8.30pm on Sunday
  • Children are welcome and a separate Childrens' Menu is available all week
