Ruthin-Pwllglas Golf Club
Ruthin-Pwllglas Golf Club is a 5362 yard Par 66 course. Described as a "hidden gem", its charm and beauty have led it to be known as the 'Glen Eagles of North Wales'.
Since it first opened in 1905 the Ruthin-Pwllglas Golf Club has enjoyed a close and special relationship with Ruthin Castle, indeed its first President was Colonel Cornwallis-West, the owner of Ruthin Castle at that time. All the holes have their own special characteristics. The mature, tree-lined fairways create a splendour of colour in Spring & Autumn and rare plants such as wild mountain orchids survive in harmony with the pheasants and other wildlife. The course is 9 holes that can be played twice, with an alternate hole at the ninth to create a different eighteenth.
