The Tre-Ysgawen Hall Hotel & Spa is the best hotel in Anglesey and the island's only 4-star hotel. Tre-Ysgawen Hall Hotel & Spa (pronounced 'Trays-gawan') nestles in acres of secluded landscaped gardens, meadow and woodland. It is approached along a private wooded driveway, just a short drive inland from the beautiful east coast of Anglesey. Built in 1882 as a grand country house the Hall has been sympathetically and tastefully furnished and extended.

The hotel offers a choice of traditional period style Superior rooms and Four Poster Suites in the Main house and modern style Superior rooms in the Courtyard Wing. All rooms are individually designed and decorated and have colour satellite television.

Enjoy an aperitif in Noëlle's Bar, or choose from the extensive wine list with fine champagnes and excellent vintages to young new world wines. Superb cuisine offering stimulating and ever changing menus, with the accent firmly on seasonal, local and regional produce, complemented by fine wines is served in Noëlle's Restaurant.

The informal and rustic atmosphere of The Clock Tower Café Wine Bar, partly located in the old clock tower, is open all day and serves a selection of hot and cold dishes and patisseries.

The Tre-Ysgawen Spa, converted from the Victorian stables, retains many of the original features including the Clock Tower, and offers a comprehensive selection of Beauty Treatments in the Health and Beauty Suite.

Relax in the 16m level-deck Swimming Pool, Steam Room, Sauna and Whirlpool, or keep fit in the air-conditioned Gymnasium.

There is a choice of four Conference Suites that can accommodate up to 200 delegates theatre style. Complimentary Wi-fi is available to guests.

The Isle of Anglesey is situated off the North West corner of Wales and is reached by crossing the Menai Strait on either Thomas Telford's magnificent Menai Suspension Bridge or on the A55 North Wales Expressway on Robert Stephenson's Britannia Bridge. Superior Double - rooms are split between the Courtyard Wing and the Main House. Those in the Courtyard Wing are modern in the style and overlook the Courtyard. Rooms in the Main House are more traditional in style and individually designed, many with views.
Four Poster Room - Large rooms in the Main House featuring a traditional four poster bed. One has larger bathroom with 6ft round bath, fridge and Bose Sound system.
Four Poster Suite - Very large rooms with traditional Four Poster bed. Large bathrooms with 6 feet round whirlpool baths. Bose sound system, fridge, 32 inch flat screen TV's. One room has a three piece sofa suite and excellent views of Snowdonia, the other has excellent views of front garden.

How to find us

By Road

From A55 North Wales Expressway - Exit the A55 North Wales Expressway at Junction 6 following the signs for Llangefni. Please note that the hotel is signposted with Brown Tourist Information signs after the roundabouts.On reaching Llangefni join the one-way system by turning to your left and immediately go into right hand lane and take the first right. Follow the one-way system noting the signs for Benllech B5110. Follow this road out of town for approximately 1/2 mile then fork left up the hill to take the (B5111) towards Llanerchymedd and Amlwch passing the Oriel Mon Gallery on your right.After approximately 3 miles, having passed through the village of Rhosmeirch turn right at the blue hotel sign. The hotel driveway is approximately 1.5 miles on your left.Enter through the wrought iron gates at the top of the driveway and drive around to the front of the hotel and main Reception. Spa Reception is on your left as you enter the gates.

From Anglesey Airport - Leave Anglesey Aiport and after 0.5 miles bear left onto Minfordd Road. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A5, after 0.5 miles at the roundabout take the 3rd exit then merge onto the A55 North Wales Expressway signposted Bangor. After 7 miles exit the A55 at Junction 6 following the signs for Llangefni. Please note that the hotel is signposted with Brown Tourist Information signs after the roundabouts. Follow directions as above from A55 North Wales Expressway.

From M6 Motorway - Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 20, and take the M56 towards Chester. Follow the signs for North Wales. Join the A511 and continue forward onto the A5117. After 2 miles continue forward on the A550, and then after a further 2 miles continue forward on the A494. After 3 miles join the A55 North Wales Expressway. Exit the A55 North Wales Expressway at Junction 6 following the signs for Llangefni. Please note that the hotel is signposted with Brown Tourist Information signs after the roundabouts. Follow directions as above from A55 North Wales Expressway.
