Dining Experience

Waterton Park Hotel has a truly unique setting. A splendid Georgian mansion house - Walton Hall - is the focal point of the hotel and is located on an island in a 26-acre lake. Walton Hall houses both a fine dining restaurant - the Bridgewalk Restaurant, recently awarded an AA Rosette - and Charlie's Bar, which serves lighter meals throughout the day.

The Bridgewalk Restaurant

Sample starter menu: Crab & Salmon Ravioli in a Shellfish Bisque - filled with crab meat and smoked salmon, topped with dill cream; Roast Parsnip Soup - topped with chive creme fraiche and a homemade parmesan crisp; Trio of Local Cheese Souffle with Homemade Flatbread.
Sample main course menu: Medallions of Wild Boar served with a truffle mash, finished with an apple and calvados sauce; Roast Winter Vegetable Strudel wrapped in filo pastry with feta cheese, roast sweet cherry tomatoes and a basil cream; Seared Halibut Steak on a leek tagliatelle with a mussel and white wine cream.

Charlie's Bar

Located in Walton Hall, on the island, Charlie's Bar offer a brasserie style menu with daily changing specials. Diners are treated to views across the lake and the outdoor terrace area is a fantastic place to soak up the stunning surroundings.

Lighter meals and snacks are served in Charlie's Bar from 7.00am to 11.00pm all week
