Spend Christmas at the Superb Lake District Hotel once owned by Beatrix Potter. Its hillside setting commands spectacular views of Lake Windermere and is renowned for its superb cuisine in the award-winning Dining Room Restaurant.

Arrive 23rd December to afternoon tea where after you have plenty of time to settle in. If you wish, why not work up an appetite in the fitness room and leisure facilities. Meet the fellow hotel guests for a pre-dinner cocktail and canapés before enjoying a sumptuous 5-course dinner at 7pm accompanied by a pianist.

On Christmas Eve enjoy a hearty breakfast served until 10am. You have the day to spend as you please from Mountain Goat mini coaches to a trip to Windermere for some shopping. Afternoon tea is served back at the hotel from 3pm. Enjoy a 5-course dinner at 7pm accompanied by carol singers. Transport to midnight Church services are available from 11pm and return to hot chocolate, mulled wine and mince pies.

On Christmas Day there will be a special surprise waiting to greet. Enjoy a brunch style breakfast served until 11am along with a glass of Bucks Fizz. Relax in the hotel lounge at 3pm before a traditional Christmas lunch is served at 4pm. Tea, coffee, drinks and snacks will then be available for the rest of the evening.

Enjoy a traditional breakfast served until 10am on Boxing Day. No trip to Windermere is complete without a cruise on the lake. Buses leave at 11.30am. After the cruise enjoy a Bowness treasure hunt or enjoy a leisurely stroll around the World of Beatrix Potter. Return back to the hotel and the bar will be open for pre-dinner drinks followed by a farewell dinner.

On 27th December enjoy a hearty breakfast to set you up for the day ahead.

Children aged 7 and under charged at £25per child per night. Children 8 - 14 sharing with parents are charged at 2/3 adult price. Children occupying their own room are charged at 80% of the adult price.
