Chipping Campden hotels to see surge in interest?
Chipping Campden hotels may soon experience a rise in bookings, as sports writers are believed to be composing a report on the area.
A group of journalists from New Zealand recently headed to Robert Dover's Cotswold Olimpicks, an event that is held annually in the area.
Sue Adie from Cheltenham Tourism told BBC News that once their work is published, people are likely to want to visit the region for themselves.
"If there are any people that want to stay longer in Britain [after the Olympic Games] they might come out a bit further as we're only a couple of hours from London," the expert predicted.
Guests of luxury hotels in the Cotswolds may also be interested to learn that the Cotswold Way has now officially been twinned with the Jeju Olle Trail in South Korea.
It is hoped that visitors from the two countries will head to each of the sites to see what they have to offer.
