Clwyd Theatr Cymru is bursting with events this summer

Now that the summer weather has finally spread across the UK, people will be looking into choosing one of the delightful luxury spa breaks available in the country.

A variety of locations are sure to appeal to travellers, so narrowing down the choices to one final destination can be a challenging task.

However, North Wales could be the ideal region for many people to stay, as it boasts attractions, delightful scenery and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

It is also a far cry from the busy city centres seen elsewhere in Britain, making it a place to consider for those who want a holiday that provides an escape from their busy daily routines.

North Wales' supreme surroundings will also give individuals an array of photo opportunities, which will act as fantastic mementos of their trip.

The region is not only appealing because of its landscape, however, as there are a selection of enticing events scheduled, with Clwyd Theatr Cymru one of the region's top venues.

Crossings is one of the many events on show, which can be seen on June 28th and showcases the dancing talents of personnel from Ysgol Maes Hyfryd, Flint and Ysgol Tir Morfa, Rhyl.

These individuals are from Candoco's youth company Cando2 and Candoco Artists Network will also be on hand on the evening to present their work.

Another event that will take place at Clwyd Theatr Cymru is Someone Who'll Watch Over Me, which is presented by the FissiParous Theatre Company from June 15th to June 16th and centres on the tribulations of a group of people who are taken hostage.

The event is littered with comedic touches and illustrates the true strength of the human spirit, while highlighting national stereotypes and offering an introspective look at each of the play's characters.

Originally, the show launched in the West End and on Broadway in 1992, where it was perceived as a hit production and captured the imagination of theatregoers everywhere.
