Cotswold hotels guests could visit reopened Royal Shakespeare Theatre
Cotswold hotels guests now have the option to visit the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
Having reopened yesterday (November 24th), the theatre is now opening for a preview period in which visitors will be able to take part in various activities.
Guests will be able to hunt for hidden miniature artworks and sit in a chair to hear a variety of classic Shakespearean insults.
Meanwhile, there will also be stage events featuring some of the company's most well-known actors, while the 50th anniversary performances are set to include A Midsummer Night's Dream and Macbeth, among others.
"Our transformed Royal Shakespeare Theatre auditorium offers the promise of a changed relationship between actor and audience... and brings the furthest seats twice as close to the action," comments Michael Boyd, artistic director at the Royal Shakespeare Company, according to the tewkesburyadmag.co.uk.
Meanwhile, guests staying in Cotswold hotels can also enjoy theatrical performances in Bath, which is showing Seven Brides for Seven Brothers until November 27th.
