Enhance a holiday in the Cotswolds with captivating theatre
February's cold climate is certainly making daily routines harder for many Britons, so now could be the perfect time to arrange a one night spa break in the Cotswolds.
The region blossoms with splendid scenery and engaging culture, while its decidedly laid-back atmosphere will make for a fantastic escape from the workplace, offering people the chance to deservedly put their feet up in a number of bars.
However, there is much more to offer in the Cotswolds than its landscape, as the region is home to the highly regarded Everyman Theatre in Gloucestershire, where a selection of terrific theatre productions will be on show in the coming weeks.
The venue has been active since 1891, scheduling an array of wonderful productions from a host of genres, including ballet, opera, drama, dance, comedy and music.
A variety of tantalising shows have been added to its listings for the upcoming weeks, with Yes, Prime Minister one show which is sure to appeal to the Cotswolds' visitors.
It arrives at the venue following two sold-out seasons in London's West End, and stars Graham Seed as well as Michael Simkins, who team up to present a comedic look at politics.
The event is also written by Antony Jay and Jonathan Lynn, who were behind the original BBC series. It will be showing from February 27th to March 3rd.
With such a tremendous production, availability is limited, so those wanting to secure tickets for the event should act quickly to avoid disappointment.
As well as the Everyman Theatre, the Cotswolds is full of excellent walks that will enable people to fully explore the area's beautiful landscape.
The Cotswold Way is one of the region's primary trails, allowing people to take in the lush natural environment, while presenting a number of photo opportunities to show friends back home.
