Enjoy February half-term at North Yorkshire hotels
Families staying at North Yorkshire hotels over February half-term will be spoilt for things to do in one of the country's most stunning areas of natural beauty.
The North York Moors will be hosting a crafting session to teach kids how to make bird feeders and boxes at the Moors National Park Centre in Danby.
Other activities taking place there include the sowing of spring seeds in personally decorated plant pots and a navigation task around the Moors suitable for young and old alike.
On February 25th at 13:00 GMT, an introduction to navigation is set to take place, giving children an insight into how to use OS maps and a compass at a cost of £4 per person.
The North York Moors is currently running a consultation on how it can reduce spending in light of its 21.5 per cent budget cut.
