Enjoy quality beaches at north Wales hotels
Finding a good quality beach may have just become easier for those staying at accommodation in north Wales, as several sites have been identified for their excellent bathing waters.
The Marine Conservation Society (MCS) has published its latest Good Beach Guide, which recommends 461 sites all over the UK, the third-highest number in its 25-year history.
Rachel Wyatt, MCS coastal pollution officer, explained that new regulations will be coming into force over the next few years to help improve standards even further.
"Our coastal communities and water companies should welcome them as an opportunity to attract more people to the UK's wonderful and varied seaside resorts," she explained.
People staying at hotels in Llandudno might want to try out the town's north shore, which was recently awarded a Blue Flag.
It was also highly commended, meaning families can enjoy a safe visit to the seaside while at hotels in north Wales.
