Explore fantastic art in the Cotswolds
With winter weather leaving many UK residents trapped indoors at the moment, it could be the perfect time to choose from a selection of luxury spa breaks.
One region that will prove to be a tremendous option for people looking to get away from it all is the Cotswolds, where visitors can escape their busy lifestyles and explore a wonderfully quaint and peaceful area.
The region is also brimming with fantastic cultural attractions, including the West Ox Arts gallery, which is located in the Grade II listed Town Hall in Bampton.
More than twelve exhibitions are held at the venue every year, focussing on formats such as still life painting, sculpture, glass, photography and felt.
The next display to take place at the gallery is Natural Worlds, which will be showing from 18th February and focuses on the natural environment.
Compositions featured in the event include a number of stunning plants, captured with intricate and minute details that make them incredible sights for art fans and general tourists alike.
One of the artists that is showcased at the gallery is Sue Bovington, who offers phenomenal prowess when it comes to landscape art, with many of her pieces available in the site's store.
The gallery's shop also has a number of other splendid products on offer, including handmade jewellery, ceramics, glassware and cards.
In addition to the wonderful offerings at the Ox Arts Gallery, February will also see the arrival of the Luxury Antiques Weekend in the Cotswolds.
Commencing on February 24th and closing two days later, the event is held at Tortworth Court and gives people the opportunity to peruse a range of excellent jewellery, oil paintings and sculptures.
Due to the high number of glamorous items, visitors could find the perfect memento of their trip to the Cotswolds, with a variety of exhibitors scheduled to present their works at the show.
