Instead of watching experts at work, visitors can also try their hand at creating their own art in one of the mill's own workshops. Many of these run throughout the year, with Jamie Barnes' Drawing from the Mill tutorial the next to start.

Barnes will be offering his guidance on February 25th, giving budding artists the chance to complete line drawings of buildings.

The site also has its own Weavers Café, where people can taste home-made cakes and scones, or sit back and enjoy Westmorland Blend coffee.
