Hotel in Wales wins AA award
Holidaymakers are likely to be tempted to stay in accommodation in Wales after a Llandudno hotel won a prestigious award.
Earlier this week, the four-star Imperial Hotel was handed the AA Hotel of the Year 2010-11 accolade.
The annual ceremony honours establishments for their standards of service, food and accommodation with this hotel in Wales coming out on top for all three.
On receiving the award, general manager of the venue Geoff Lofthouse said: "The Imperial Hotel prides itself on its reputation for outstanding service and this award recognises and rewards the hotel's outstanding quality, exceptional comfort and hospitality as the best in the serviced accommodation sector in Wales."
Guests can appreciate the original features of the 19th century Victorian property, while being able to enjoy its modern amenities including a health and fitness centre, swimming pool, gym and spa facilities.
Holidaymakers who decide to make Llandudno their next holiday destination can join the many who visit to walk along its sandy shores, take a trip to Conwy castle - which was built in the 13th century - or learn more about the Bronze Age mines in the area.
