Keswick hotels at Halloween: Plenty to do for kids

Guests staying in hotels in Keswick this weekend will have plenty to do for Halloween, especially if they have children.

Keswick Museum will be hosting Halloween ghost stories, while a range of other themed events will be taking place throughout the town.

Trotters World of Animals will treat its inhabitants to pumpkins over the weekend. Storytelling sessions will also be held in the park's barn.

World of Animals park manager Richard Robinson added: "It would be great to see lots of children buzzing round the park in spooky costumes for Halloween weekend so we decided to make it a fun family day.

"Children in Halloween dress are free with a paying adult and we are more than happy for Mums and Dads to dress up too!"

Trotters World of Animals is free for under 3's, while adults and children up to 14 years old pay entry fees of £7.25 and £5.25 respectively.

Zebras, lemurs and gibbons are among the huge collection of exciting, exotic animals on show at the park.
