Kids to be allowed to cycle near hotels in Llandudno?
Campaigners believe that youngsters staying at hotels in Llandudno and living in the local area should be able to cycle on the town's promenade.
At present, anyone found cycling on Llandudno Promenade faces a fine for breaking a bylaw, despite objections from various local groups.
However, as many kids will no doubt be receiving bikes for Christmas, safety experts believe they could benefit from having an off-road area to practise on.
Neil McKenzie, of Llandudno For Safe Cycling, told North Wales Weekly that the "promenade provides a safe environment for this" and should be used to its full advantage.
Meanwhile, bookings may be being made at nearby hotels in Llangollen, as more details have been announced regarding next year's International Musical Eisteddfod.
Star of Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera John Owen-Jones is lined up to perform during the event's finale on July 8th alongside the likes of Alfie Boe, Karl Jenkins and Lesley Garrett.
