New Norfolk website has 'more modern feel'
People staying at accommodation in East Anglia will be able to make use of a new website, which gives plenty of handy information on things to do in Norfolk.
The region's official tourism website has undergone a £25,000 upgrade to make it more accessible for anyone hoping to holiday in the area.
Visitnorfolk.co.uk has listings on what is going on, as well as the latest tourism news and an insight into the best food and drink on offer.
Jan Robertson, Norfolk Tourism's website manager, said: "I am really excited about the opportunities provided by the new website. I am very keen for us to develop our presence on social media platforms."
She added that the group's presence on flickr is already proving a success, with inroads also being made on Twitter and Facebook.
This follows the news that Norfolk's economy has been boosted by the staycation trend, as employment in the tourism sector increased five per cent between 2008 and 2009.
