North Yorkshire hotel guests advised to visit Harrogate
Guests staying at North Yorkshire hotels should head to Harrogate if they are in search of something to do, one expert has said.
A representative of the Harrogate Tourism Team said that there are various venues throughout the town with fun-packed schedules of events.
"Enjoy an exciting range of theatrical productions at Harrogate Theatre and bringing the world's most inspirational artists, musicians, writers and performers to the heart of Yorkshire is the Harrogate International Festival," he explained.
The expert suggested that the Harrogate International Centre often has plenty going on, as does the town's Royal Hall.
It was revealed by the Association of Leading Visitor Attractions in recent days that there was an increase in people heading to destinations in the UK last year, as holidaying at home became more popular.
Compared to the previous year, there was a 0.38 per cent rise in people visiting UK tourist locations.
