Norwich 'a haven for book lovers'
Anyone with a love of literature should consider a trip to Norwich when staying at hotels in East Anglia, one publication has suggested.
With its cobbled streets, historical buildings and many book shops, there is plenty to keep people entertained, the New York Times said.
It also boasts a wide variety of book shops, the article noted, with would-be authors typing away hoping to get their work published one day.
Citing comments from author Kazuo Ishiguro, the publication said that many regard Norwich as having a strong literary scene where people come together to talk about books.
"I love the emptiness and the atmosphere. The scenery is quite unique. There is that feeling of being in a lost corner," Mr Ishiguro reportedly said.
Earlier this month, Visit Norwich launched its search for a new set of ambassadors for the city, who would be involved in promoting it to potential visitors.
