Roam with rangers while at hotels in North Yorkshire
Those staying at hotels in North Yorkshire are invited to take part in a number of walks guided by those who know the North York Moors like the back of their hand.
Rangers will guide visitors through the national park between April 12th and 14th, with the walks varying between three and six miles long.
Not only will they shed light on their work in the area, but can also answer questions from inquisitive participants who may want to learn more.
"If you want to know the best spots for wildlife watching, where to see spring flowers or perhaps are just intrigued about what a National Park Ranger does, then sign up for this opportunity," explained Sally Ann Smith, the National Park Authority's events and exhibitions coordinator.
In recent days, visitors were invited to learn more about an excavation that had taken place at an Iron Age hillfort in the North York Moors.
