Royal wedding expected to increase UK hotel bookings
Bookings at luxury hotels in Wales and suchlike may increase as a result of the royal wedding next month, an expert has predicted.
People from all over the world want to be a part of the event, noted royal photographer Ian Jones, who said that the effects of the wedding on tourism will be felt for many more years to come.
"We have such a history in this country and big state occasions such as these are done so well by Britain and are appreciated by the millions of tourists who flock to Britain every year," he explained.
Mr Jones highlighted that the history and traditions of the UK are the major draws for visitors, not to mention the appeal of a monarchy still being in place.
Last year, Visit Britain predicted a positive 12 months for British tourism as people want to visit locations associated with Prince William and Kate Middleton, such as Anglesey in Wales.
