Status Quo to play East Anglia gig
Status Quo fans staying at accommodation in East Anglia this summer may want to make a trip to Thetford Forest, where the band will be playing on June 9th.
This is the only date in East Anglia the aging rockers will be playing this year, so demand for tickets is expected to be high.
Band member Francis Rossi commented: "Forestry Commission Live Music is a fantastic annual event that has become a statutory part of the UK's live music calendar. We love to bag a trip to the woods each year."
He added that the last time the band played in Thetford Forest a capacity crowd was in attendance, making sure the gig went down a storm.
Tickets for the event are already on sale, costing £34 and subject to a booking fee.
The Visit Wales blog recently revealed that there are plenty of outdoor festivals in the country this summer, including Wakestock.
