Those heading to Stockeld Park may need accommodation in Yorkshire

People planning some festive fun at Stockeld Park may need to arrange accommodation in Yorkshire.

The Wetherby attraction has announced details of its Halloween and Christmas celebrations, which are set to provide fun for all the family.

From October 25th 2010, a range of events are taking place to coincide with the school half-term, including Fright Nights, where kids are encouraged to come in fancy dress and enjoy a "haunted walk".

Puppet shows, theatre productions and spooky treasure hunts will also be on offer to visitors.

From October 22nd 2010, Stockeld Park will also be gearing up for Christmas by installing an ice rink and welcoming Santa into its grotto.

Visitors are able to take a walk through the Enchanted Forest or stop for refreshments at the Woodland Cafe.

"You don't need to go to Lapland this year for a true Christmas experience. Our … extravaganza is second to none," the attraction stated.
