Wales has landscapes for every taste
Whether people staying in country house hotels in Wales are after cities or scenery, there is plenty to suit every taste.
The country has such a varied landscape that people will never be short of things to see and do while visiting the area, noted the Visit Wales blog.
Fans of the great outdoors can go to Snowdonia National Park, which has around 840 square miles of mountains, lakes and walking terrain, or even the Brecon Beacons.
Meanwhile, those who want a taste of the Great British seaside might like to visit the Pembrokeshire coast, which was voted by National Geographic as the second-best coastal destination in the world.
In recent days it was announced that three attractions in north Wales would be receiving a funding boost to make them even more appealing to tourists.
They are the Snowdon Mountain Railway, Ty Croes and the Rhug Estate.
