William and Kate make first public engagement
Those visiting luxury hotels in Wales may have been lucky enough to catch a glimpse of Prince William and Kate Middleton on their first official engagement in the country.
The pair were in the Anglesey at the naming ceremony of a new RNLI lifeboat at Trearddur Bay, which is not far from where they have a home.
A palace spokesperson confirmed that William and Kate had requested that their first official visit was near to where they live.
Heather Parsons from Llanfaelog told BBC Wales: "I've met Prince William a few times since he has been up here and he has been the most wonderful gentleman.
"He is charming and he does wonderful things."
VisitBritain is hoping that tourism to the UK will be boosted in April as people travel from all over the world to have their piece of the royal wedding.
