There is plenty to keep guests of hotels in Anglesey entertained all year round, but December is an especially exciting time to stay in the area.

A number of winter walks are being held at Plas Newydd Country House and Gardens throughout the month that are suitable for people of all ages to enjoy.

The first is being held on the weekend of December 3rd and 4th, with walkers advised to be at the property before 15:30 GMT, when the last admissions will be made.

Every weekend throughout December, Plas Newydd Country House and Gardens will be open between 11:00 and 16:00, giving plenty of opportunity for a winter stroll.

There is another incentive for booking luxury hotels in North Wales in the not too distant future, as the Nick Beer 10Km memorial race is taking place in Llandudno on February 16th.

Competitors are expected to head to the area from far and wide to take part in the race.
