Northern Ireland’s only site of World Heritage, the Giant’s Causeway crowns the magnificent coast of Antrim. Its unique rock formations, a result of volcanic activity, have weathered Atlantic storms for 60 million years and the symmetry of its interlocking basalt columns, of which there are over 40,000, continues to amaze visitors today. The National Trust are the custodians of the Causeway.
