Take an exhilerating boat ride across the ‘stream in the sky,’ but at 126 feet high you may not want to look down! Britain’s largest aqueduct, completed in 1805, runs between two villages – Froncysyllte and Trevor – and is 1,007 feet long, with the River Dee passing beneath its 19 arches. Pontcysyllte is fed by water from the Horseshoe Falls near Llangollen.
