Surrounded by 22 acres of parkland and gardens, Wilton House has been home to the Earls of Pembroke since the 1540s. Visitors can admire the magnificent 17th Century interiors and world-famous art collection, including paintings by van Dyck, Pieter Brueghel, Rembrandt van Rijn and Richard Wilson. There are annual exhibitions and, for children, there is an adventure playground. A two-minute drive from Wilton House is Wilton Shopping Village, where visitors can explore a historic courtyard, shops and an antique centre in a relaxed riverside setting.
