Food & Drink

The Restaurant at Inver Lodge

The Restaurant

The Restaurant serves some of the finest cuisine in the Highlands, but with its huge windows, offers diners panoramic views over Loch Inver and the surrounding countryside. Imaginative menus feature freshly caught fish, lobster and salmon, as well as Highland venison, lamb and Angus beef. For the ultimate Roux experience, we recommend you start with the Albert Roux soufflé suissesse, where cheese is used to glaze the soufflé rather than incorporated into the mixture. There is no escaping the chef's speciality fish of the day for a main course. And round it off with a classic caramelised lemon tart. A separate vegetarian menu is available on request.

Please reserve a table for dinner in advance.

Afternoon Tea

Don’t miss the opportunity to indulge in afternoon tea whilst staying in this glorious setting – savour homemade scones with fruit preserve and cream, sandwiches, cakes and a pot of tea. Both traditional afternoon tea and champagne afternoon tea are available to order and can be enjoyed in the foyer lounge sitting comfortably by the Scots pine fireplace. Afternoon tea can be booked in advance, at a special price, when booking your room via

Eas a’ Chual Aluinn Falls -

The Highlands is home to spectacular landscapes and raw nature at its best – mountains and moorland, rivers and lochs, and, of course, waterfalls. Over three times as high as Niagara Falls, Britain’s highest waterfall spills from a high plateau, plunging 200 metres (658 feet) over a cliffside to the shore of Loch Glencoul. Also known as Eas Coul Aulin, the original Scottish Gaelic translates as ‘waterfall of the beautiful tresses’ and it certainly doesn’t disappoint. Care should be taken near the falls as this area is very dangerous.
