Farm House
This traditional property has all the trappings of home with a traditional Aga cooker, washing machine, drier, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. It has a raised patio area with its own Private 6 seater Hot Tub and barbecue area overlooking the walled garden, pond and the 11th hole. The farmhouse has five bedrooms and can sleep up to 10 people. There are three doubles and two twin rooms and because they have zipped beds, they can be configured into five twin rooms if required.
Whole Treehouse
The ultimate treehouse retreat. Rib Room Steakhouse & Grill
Awarded a rosette by The AA for the superb quality of its food, this highly rated restaurant offers a full brasserie-style menu with the focus on succulent, premium steaks. The meat is grass-fed Hereford beef sourced from local Durham farms and then aged for 28 days in the restaurant's meat locker. The unique 'on view' meat locker offers diners a peek of the high quality meats to be enjoyed. For a delicious taste of Durham, start with a vegetarian Durham blue cheese and spinach soufflé, then, share a 30oz tomahawk rib eye steak between the two of you, or devour your very own house speciality 20oz steak. The Cathedral Course
Played across acres of peaceful countryside, between the villages of Belmont and Pittington, with dramatic ridges, becks and valleys, and picturesque views of Durham Cathedral (even, on a clear day, the Angel of the North in Gateshead), this new championship-standard course offers a challenge with every subtle and sometimes startling change in elevation. The Prince Bishop's Course
Named after the warrior clergymen who ruled over the lawless North from Durham Castle, the Prince Bishop’s course has an international reputation – hosting regional PGA tournaments and top amateur championships – and features 16 water hazards, with long par-5s, driveable par-4s and demanding short holes. No less than 10 holes feature water hazards and there are 9 doglegs to proceed skilfully around; plus wide, tree-lined fairways and USGA-specification greens.
