Wyck Hill is a honey-hued 18th-century manor house hotel set in a 50-acre estate with breathtaking views across Windrush Valley. Located in the heart of the Cotswolds, just outside Stow-on-the-Wold, it is ideally placed for exploring the surrounding chocolate-box villages and market towns, such as Bourton-on-the-Water and Moreton-in-Marsh.
The hotel features award-winning dining in a glorious light-filled conservatory, where you can savour fine food and country views, and a cosy library and bar, with a traditional open fire and oak panelled walls.

Bedrooms are spread across the original manor house, the garden wing, and the orangery and coach house annexes. Rooms in the orangery have a Mediterranean feel and many offer private patio areas where you can spend idyll hours with a glass of champagne. The orangery features a separate boot room to hang up your walking gear after exploring the Cotswolds on foot. The coach house annex has been converted from the old stables, but still retains its traditional character; some rooms have feature fireplaces, exposed beams and walk-in wardrobes. From the M40:
Take the M40 to Junction 8 (Oxford South) then join the A40 Oxford ring road (towards Witney/Burford). Follow the A40 through four roundabouts (25 miles). At the next roundabout, take the fourth exit onto The Hill/A361. Follow the A361 north through Burford. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A424. Follow the A424 for 7.5 miles towards Stow-on-the-Wold. The hotel will be on your left.
From the M5:
Exit at Junction 11A and take the A417 east towards Burford. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A436. Go through two roundabouts. Turn right onto the A40. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A429. Follow the A429 northeast for 7.5 miles, towards Stow. Before you reach Stow, turn right onto the A424. Follow the A424 for 1.5 miles. The hotel will be on your right.
The Restaurant
RRThe restaurant at Wyck Hill House enjoys a superb reputation, awarded two AA Rosettes for its contemporary dishes. Guests can enjoy modern British cuisine, with à la carte and table d’hôte menus, in the traditional conservatory whilst gazing out of large French windows across the glorious 50-acre estate. Ingredients are locally sourced, such as Cotswold lamb and Gloucestershire cheeses, and freshly picked to ensure that each mouthful is bursting with local flavours.

Library & Bar
The Elizabethan-style library and bar, with its beautiful oak-panelled walls, traditional open fire, wooden flooring and antique furniture, provides a watering hole befitting a country manor. The bar menu offers light meals and snacks, from afternoon to evening, to enjoy whilst savouring time with a loved one or relishing a good read.
Al Fresco Dining
In the summer, dining at Wyck Hill reveals an altogether different flavour. Take a seat in the fresh open air – sunny or shade – and dine al fresco.
