Indeed, a breakout area doesn’t have to be an adjoining syndicate room. It could be a 185-acre estate with an abundance of walking and biking routes. Grade II* listed sculpture gardens or an on-site arboretum (take a self-guided tour of the collection with a tree walk map). It could even be a celebrated 1,000-acre estate in Scotland with its very own nature trail. Bring your breakout boots.

But, if it’s an AIM-accredited meeting room you’re after, then our larger resort-style properties have magnificent self-contained suites (think vehicular access) with multiple private entrances, reception areas, dedicated syndicate rooms, cloakrooms, bars, and ballrooms – perfect for that AGM. We offer acoustic sliding screens, too, to divide spaces so they’re just right for you on the day. And, what’s more, some of our largest conference, meeting and event spaces lead out to walled gardens and manicured lawns. With us, ‘purpose-built conference centre’ rubs shoulders with ‘oak-panelled Jacobean boardroom’. We’re proof that the two are compatible after all.
