Agricultural Show to attract visitors to hotels in Anglesey
Next month may see a surge in visitor numbers heading to hotels in Anglesey as the island prepares to host its annual Agricultural Show.
The event takes place on August 9th and 10th and attendees will be able to view displays of some of the finest animals in the country.
As well as show jumping and other equestrian events, a range of livestock will be on show, including cattle, sheep, pigs and goats.
Those with rooms at hotels in north Wales booked who have an interest in birds will also find plenty to catch their attention, as there will be displays of fancy pigeons.
The show is being held at the Anglesey Agricultural Showground, which is a 160-acre site close to Holyhead seaport, which will provide those staying in north Wales hotels with easy access to the mainland.
Earlier this month, Tourism Partnership North Wales targeted people in the north-west of England and the Midlands in the hope that it would boost visitor numbers to hotels in Anglesey and make it one of the UK's top five destinations.
