Complement a holiday in Yorkshire with some retail therapy
There is no better time to try out Harrogate's many shops than while staying at North Yorkshire hotels.
It has many retail opportunities, a representative of the Harrogate Tourism Team noted, with everything from shopping centres to more specialist outlets.
"Exclusive boutiques, independent fashion stores and favourite high street names ensure you will be spoilt for choice," she explained.
Furthermore, after a hectic day at the shops there are plenty of places to kick back and enjoy a locally-produced meal, with Fodder and Weetons coming highly recommended by the expert.
It was recently suggested by Peter Myers, a representative from Welcome to Yorkshire, that Bradford is a popular destination with visitors to the region, mainly because of its many historical attractions.
The Alhambra Theatre and St George's Hall are popular destinations for culture lovers, Mr Myers explained, while the National Media Museum is a hit with families and people of all ages.
