Dry Rot to open at Theatre by the Lake
Dry Rot will open at Theatre by the Lake on June 1st, acting as a great reason for people to look at the range of luxury spa breaks available in the Lake District.
The region has turned into one of the UK's most favoured holiday destinations, as it offers stunning countryside views, a warm atmosphere and a charming community lifestyle which can give people the perfect break from their busy lives.
Those visiting the area can choose to explore the wonderful scenery by embarking on one of the many available walking routes. There is a wide variety available, meaning that committed ramblers and newcomers to the activity alike will find something that suits them.
Such outstanding natural beauty will give people plenty of chance to take advantage of a plethora of photo opportunities, which will be sure to make friends at home envious.
After familiarising themselves with the area, visitors can begin to look for other attractions, of which they are many.
One of the events that will be certain to attract interest this summer is Dry Rot. The production will open at Theatre by the Lake on June 1st and is the work of John Chapman.
Ian Forrest will also direct the show, which centres on Colonel Wagstaff and his family, who place themselves in charge of a Bull and Cow country hotel.
They soon notice the bizarre behaviour of their guests and begin to hear unusual sounds at night, leading to chaos and hilarity.
It also features a gang of incompetent conmen, who attempt to kidnap a prizewinning racehorse, prompting more comical scenes.
Dry Rot will be showing at the venue until November 9th, meaning that people will get plenty of time to catch the extravaganza and can watch it at any point during the summer season, making a trip to the Lake District even more appealing.
