There are many excellent routes to choose from in the area, with many of them suited to all competency levels and featuring a range of natural attractions.

For those of you staying at hotels in Anglesey, then the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path could be just the place to visit.

It spans 125 miles and has been designed with walkers in mind; you'll pass though farmland, coastal heath and salt marshes should you choose to travel the entire route.

The Alwen Trail, on the other hand, can be found near Cerrigydrudion on the border of Conwy and Denbighshire, spanning just seven-and-a-half miles.

It is a circular trail, which follows forestry tracks and paths along the edge of the Alwen Reservoir, before ending up on the Denbigh Moors.
