North Wales hotels: Llanbedrog art gallery promises plenty to do for tourists

Tourists staying in accommodation in north Wales near Llanbedrog are being encouraged to take advantage of the host of activities taking place this summer.

The Oriel Plas Glyn-y-Weddw art gallery is hosting a summer exhibition alongside adult and child art workshops hosted by prestigious artists.

Work by William Selwyn, Howard Coles and Karel Lek will be included in this year's new exhibition.

Meanwhile, painter Emily Gregory Smith and textile artist Alison Mercer will be among those hosting family workshops providing visitors with an opportunity to hone their own creative skills.

In addition to art work, two Welsh folk evenings will also be hosted by the gallery. In addition to the annual Mid Summer Music concert, a special performance by the Lunar Sax Quartet will be complemented by Eryl Jones and his band.

Another excellent attraction that may appeal to families staying in hotels in north Wales is the Rhyl SeaQuarium, which features a range of animal displays including sea lions and clown fish.
