Roof terrace bar unveiled at The Club Hotel & Spa
If you're staying in Jersey this summer you can be one of the first to experience the new roof terrace bar at The Club Hotel & Spa, St. Helier. The bar will be open throughout the summer, weather permitting, offering guests the opportunity to sit back and enjoy drinks and bar snacks from the Michelin-starred Bohemia Restaurant in the open air.
The bespoke bar features it's own 6-metre sunshade and on Friday nights boutique beats and down tempo music set the tone.

4-stars & new fitness suite for Royal Chace Hotel
The Royal Chace Hotel, Enfield, has recently been awarded four star status. This accolade follows a raft of recent developments at the hotel, including an extensive bedroom refurbishment to give the hotel a modern, contemporary style, and the addition of a new fitness suite.
Mr Geoffrey Breese, General Manager of the Royal Chace Hotel, commented "We were delighted to receive four star status - a lot of hard work, time and investment has gone into the hotel in recent years and we are all very proud..."
The latest new addition to the hotel is the fitness suite which comprises two well-equipped areas including a cardio-vascular room with 9 stations. Alongside the fitness facilities, a sun shower and an American pool table have also been added.
Appleby Manor - "Small Hotel of the Year 2008"
Congratulations to the team at 4-star Appleby Manor Country House Hotel, Penrith/Appleby, which has just been awarded the accolade of 'Small Hotel of the Year, 2008' at the recent Cumbria Tourism Awards.
The award was presented to the hotel on 13th May after a period of assessment that looked at all aspects of the shortlisted hotels, with a mystery shopper visit at the final stage of the decision process.
Competition for this sought-after award was amongst nominated hotels with less than 50 bedrooms, offering their guests impeccable standards of accommodation and service.

Exclusive Chef's Table unveiled at Michelin Starred Bohemia
Bohemia at The Club Hotel & Spa, in Jersey's capital St. Helier, is one of the UK's top restaurants and the recipient of 4 AA Rosettes and a Michelin Star.
February 2008 saw the unveiling of a Chef's Table at Bohemia, a concept adopted by just a handful of elite restaurants around the world and believed to be the first of its kind in the UK outside of London.
The new table seats six people in the midst of kitchen's adrenalin, offering a truly interactive dining experience. Diners at the Chef's Table will have the unique opportunity to see Head Chef, Shaun Rankin, and his team prepare and serve a sumptuous seven course meal, designed specifically for the new table.
In addition to the Chef's Table, three new leather-walled private dining rooms have also been unveiled at the hotel, catering for between 4 and 50 people for lunch or dinner or up to 120 for cocktail parties.

Green accolades for Langdale Hotel & County Club in The Lake District
Langdale Hotel & County Club, near Ambleside in The Lake District, has recently been awarded two significant awards for its exceptional commitment to the environment.
It was the first organisation to receive the Natural England Best Business Biodiversity Award and one of only three to receive an Environmental Excellence Award at the latest CBEN (Cumbria Business Environment Network) Awards.
Langdale Hotel & Country Club has a longstanding commitment to the environment and has trialled an array in innovations and technologies designed to care for it. Its most recent work includes the development of a 50 point environmental action plan and previous work includes the donation of over £140,000 over the years to repair Lake District footpaths. Waste reduction, recycling and energy-saving devices are all key in the day-today operation of the hotel, leisure club and self-catering lodges that comprise the Langdale Estate.
For the future Langdale is looking to sustainable energy, through biomass, for 20% of its energy needs.

Milford Hall Hotel - Awards for Excellence
Milford Hall hotel in Salibury recently scooped the top honour at the Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards 2008, adding to the accolades the hotel has received from the Salisibury Tourism Partnership for outstanding service for three consecutive years.
