Yorkshire’s new gallery offers the largest purpose-built exhibition space outside London, with over 1,600 square metres of inspired spaces. The Hepworth Wakefield is named after locally born artist Barbara Hepworth and displays some of her rarely seen works, as well as exhibiting other contemporary artists and work from Wakefield’s art collection. It was described by The Independent as “One of the finest contemporary art museums in Europe.”
