Situated on the banks of the River Deben, the tide mill at Woodbridge was one of the first built and was the last to commercially operate in the UK. The mill site dates back over 800 years, although the present mill was built in 1793. The mill has been restored to working order, enabling visitors to experience 18th century tidal milling power first hand.
